Chair of training specialists in civil defence

The chair was founded in 1996 to execute Decree of Cabinet of Ministers of 4.03.1996 ¹278 and acts as a legal body. The chair is a structural subdivision of Ministry of Emergency Measures and protection of population from of Chernobyl catastrophe consequences.

The chair trains in civil defense specialists in Ukraine.

Enrollment is temporarily stopped.

Scientific research is carried out in directions:
  • modeling and forecasting emergency situations;
  • justification and development of new samples of special vehicles, mechanical aids to carry out rescue operations and other urgent works.
  • destruction of explosive materials and utilization of ammunition;
Educational units of the chair:
Subject –methodological group of foundations of civil defense and general training
Subject –methodological group of tactical and tactics-specialized training of forces of civil defense;
Subject –methodological group of special training and prediction of emergency situations and protection of population;
Subject –methodological group of technical training
Group of training Ministry of Emergency Measures specialists directed to educational establishments of other Ministries and departments.
