Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture carry out training of Specialists, Bachelors, Masters for foreign countries according to contracts on the fallowing specialities:
Architectural faculty:
- architecture of buildings and structures;
- town planning;
- design of architectural environment;
- fine arts and decorative applied art.
Construction Department:
- industrial and civil engineering;
- management of organizations.
Construction-technological department:
- technology of building structures products and materials;
- commodity and commerce activities.
Department of geo-informational systems and land management:
- city development and economy;
- land management and cadastre;
- geo-informational systems and technologies.
Automation and information technologies department:
- hoisting, building, road, reclamation machines and equipment;
- automation management by technological processes;
- computer management systems and technologies;
- computer design technologies;
- professional training on production, operation and repair of hoisting, building,
road, reclamation machines and equipment;
- professional training in the direction of computer technologies in management
and training.
Sanitary engineering department:
- heat and gas supply and ventilation;
- water-supply and water disposal structures and equipment;
- water supply and water disposal;
- ecology and environmental protection.
The term of study in the university comprises:
- Architectural faculty: Bachelor – 4,5 years; Specialist, Master – 6 years;
- engineering departments: Bachelor – 4 years; Specialist, Master – 5 years.
There is Preparatory Department for Foreign Citizens in the university which trains foreigners for their entering engineering, architectural, economic, medical higher educational establishments. The term of training is 1 year. Training of foreign citizens at the main and preparatory departments is carried out according to contracts.
Foreign citizens enrolled in the university are given places in two or three-bed rooms with all necessary facilities in the dormitory of hotel type.
The tuition fee in 2009/2010 academic year is: in Architectural faculty - $3000 (23000 grivnas);
Engineering departments - $2000 (15000 grinbas); Preparatory Department - $1500 (12000 grivnas).
Accommodation fee is approximately $1000 annually.

To study at the Preparatory Department foreign citizen must receive the invitation for studies from the university in order to enter the territory of Ukraine. For receiving invitation it is necessary to pay preliminary payment for the contract (30% of the contract cost), submit passport copy, pay accommodation fee.
Having received the invitation the foreigner must address the embassy of Ukraine in his/her country for making visa for entering Ukraine.
After having arrived to Ukraine for study at the Preparatory Department the foreigner must submit the fallowing documents:
1. National passport and its copy;
2. Certified copy of the secondary education certificate specifying the subject study and the corresponding grades;
3. Medical certificate certified by the official body of the state from which applicant arrived. It must be given not earlier than two months before arriving to the territory of Ukrainian.
4. Copy of his/her birth certificate ;
5. 12 recent photographs, size 4x6 sm.;
6. Personal questionnaire (drawn up at the university);
7. Insurance policy for emergency aid ( drawn up at the university);
8. Medical certificate confirming absence of AIDS and malaria, thorax X-ray examination;
9. Returning ticket with an open date to go back to the motherland for the period up to one year.
The documents mentioned in point 2,3,4 must be certified according to the legislation of the country of their submission and proper legalized as well as translated into Ukrainian language and certified by the state Ukrainian notary.
Invitation official registration for Preparatory Department is carried out
from May 20 till November 1 of current year.
For entering the above specialities of the main departments of the university it is necessary to submit the fallowing documents:
1. National passport and its copy;
2. Certified copy of the secondary education certificate specifying the
subjects studied and the corresponding grades;
3. Medical certificate certified by the official body of the state from which
an applicant arrived. It must be given not earlier than two months before
arriving to the territory of Ukraine.
4. Copy of his/her birth certificate;
5. Preparatory Department Certificate (if he/she finished it);
6. 12 recent photographs, size 4x6 sm.;
7. Personal questionnaire (drawn up at the university);

10. Returning ticket with an open date to go back to the motherland for the period up to one year.
Application of documents for the maim departments is carried out
from June 15 till July 10 of current year.
Foreign citizens who arrived to Ukraine for study must obey the rules of residence in Ukraine in accordance with the Order of Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine # 1074 of December 12, 1995.
For prolonging the period of stay in Ukraine the educational institution submit the documents to the Main Office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in Kyiv not later than 3 working days until the expiration of registration period of validity. In this connection foreigners must submit the documents to the International Relations Department of the university 14 days before.
After graduating or expelling from the university a foreigner must fulfill all necessary formalities with the university and leave Ukraine by a specified date.
A foreigner bears administrative responsibility (through the court, by paying a fine) for tardy submitting his/her national passport to the International Affairs Department for prolonging the period of stay in Ukraine.
